As the producer of The Moss Report, the year leading up to the Covid-19 pandemic was filled with anticipation and excitement. We had invested years of hard work and significant resources into two major projects: our feature film, Immunotherapy: The Battle Within, and our book, Cancer, Incorporated. These productions were the result of extensive research, collaboration, and a deep commitment to advancing the field of integrative oncology. We were poised for their grand launch, fully expecting them to make a significant impact. However, just as we were ready to release these works, the Covid-19 pandemic struck, dramatically altering the course of our plans.

As the pandemic swept across the globe, our plans were abruptly overshadowed by the ensuing panic and uncertainty. The public’s attention was understandably diverted to the immediate health crisis at hand, leaving little room for anything else. The excitement surrounding our film and book quickly dissipated, as the world turned its focus to the pressing issues brought on by Covid-19. This was a challenging time, to put it mildly. The landscape had shifted overnight, and the topics that once seemed so vital were suddenly sidelined in favor of urgent pandemic-related concerns.
The pandemic imposed severe travel restrictions, which drastically limited our ability to continue exploring innovative medical practices around the world. Our mission had always been to bring the latest and most effective treatments to light, but with borders closed and movement restricted, this became nearly impossible. We found ourselves at a crossroads, needing to adapt to the new reality and rethink our approach. The question was shifted, out of necessity, almost exclusively to finding ways to help people take control of their health in a world where travel for treatment was nearly impossible.
Enter The Moss Method
In response to these challenges, we shifted our focus from what we had been doing—exploring innovative medicine around the world—to what was still within reach for people in lockdown: self-help and home-based care. This pivot led to the creation of our latest book, The Moss Method. This book is author Ralph W. Moss’ magnum opus on the subject of natural ways to help fight and heal from cancer, using nutrition and supplementation.
The Moss Method developed out of the need to help those who were looking for ways to take control of their health during a time when external options were limited. It represents a practical, real-world application of natural medicine that is relevant and meaningful, even as the world gradually returns to normalcy.

Unlike our previous works, which often delved into the politics and history of cancer treatment, The Moss Method is strictly focused on actionable steps that individuals can take to help themselves heal and fight cancer from home.
That being said, we still hold immense pride in the film and book that were sidelined by the pandemic. Immunotherapy: The Battle Within and Cancer, Incorporated are both powerful works that continue to hold value in the ongoing conversation about cancer care. While they may not have received the spotlight they deserved at the time, we are confident that their messages will endure. These projects are a testament to our longstanding commitment to uncovering the truth in cancer treatment and advocating for a more integrative, patient-centered approach. As we move forward, we remain dedicated to empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to take control of their health, no matter the challenges that arise. The Moss Report continues to evolve, adapting to the needs of our readers while staying true to our core mission. The pandemic may have changed our path, but it has also strengthened our resolve to make a lasting impact on the world of natural health.
A Silver Lining
The pandemic also marked a pivotal moment for Townsend Letter, as it hastened the transition to a fully digital format. In 2023, after 40 years of producing the print magazine, Dr. Collin faced significant challenges in maintaining the publication as a digital-only platform. The difficulties of adapting to a new medium, compounded by supply chain disruptions and resource limitations, underscored the need for a new direction. Now, with the first release of our new website and the fully digital edition of Townsend Letter, I am committed to bringing its invaluable content to a broader audience. This transition, while rooted in the challenges of the pandemic, represents a silver lining—a chance to blend Dr. Collin’s legacy with my technical expertise and vision for the future, ensuring that Townsend Letter continues to thrive in the digital age.
